Seventeen Inch Laptop

Seventeen-inch laptops are not the most common size. Most laptops range between 12 inch and 15 inch, so there is not a lot of variety when it comes to cases for 17 inch laptops. Many manufacturers do not even bother making their cases in the 17 inch size, because these larger laptops just are not that common yet.
While finding a 17 inch laptop case may be a bit difficult, finding the right one can be even harder! It can be especially difficult to find a good case locally. You can try various electronic stores and office supply stores, as well as some department and discount stores, but most of these places will have limited selections. By shopping online, you can search for the case that meets your needs without having to drive around to several different stores. Even after spending a whole day driving around you still might not find the right case, so you can save a lot of time and frustration by shopping online.
Many laptop cases are designed with saving space in mind, but this can be problematic. Although the case might carry the laptop itself comfortably, it may not be deep enough to comfortably carry the additional accessories.
Your mouse, external hard drive, portable printer, USB hub, external keyboard, and other accessories must also be considered.
Durability is another factor. You will want to choose a well-known brand or a case with a very good guarantee, especially if you are shopping online. When you are shopping online, you cant test the material, tug on the strap, and perform an up-close examination that could help you determine the quality and durability of the item. If your 17 inch laptop happens to be especially heavy and some 17 inch models can weigh 10 pounds or more then the rolling feature will be a blessing!

Colorfull Laptop

So you're thinking about buying a new laptop...But if you're like me, it has to match with my style and I cannot, will not, absolutely not buy a black, plain laptop. When I see a plain laptop, my eyes get droopy and I just want to fall asleep. I also wouldn't mind if it made cute guys approach me and ask me about it...

The fashionistas have spoken and the industry has delivered! Designers have begun creating unique, colorful laptops that a diva is sure to approve of...I did. I found this amazing pink laptop that has tons of memory and a long battery...And it's pink!

First, I have this sensational designer purse that is large enough to fit a laptop inside. The laptop had to match the cute, pink flowers that were a part of the design on the purse. The pink laptop I found was perfect, a light pink color that was absolutely marvelous.

Next, the laptop has to match a majority of my shoes. Just like the old saying that your belt should match your shoes, I feel the same way about a laptop. Since I had tons of pink shoes, it didn't take long to decide that pink was the color for my personal style. Pink is a major staple of my entire wardrobe so it had to be pink!

Once I decided I needed a pink laptop, I fretted a bit about the price. Hopefully the price would be decent even though it was a pretty color. Honestly, there isn't a huge price difference if you need a laptop that has style and sass.

Now that I have my pretty pink laptop, everywhere I got I get asked where I got it. I pretended like I didn't notice. He approached me on his way out and just stopped and said, "I love that your laptop matches your shoes." Mission accomplished!

Laptop Battery

Nowadays almost all laptops and notebooks use rechargeable Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries. To improve battery performance further though the following tips are given:

1. Fully charge new batteries before use: To ensure laptop batteries are in optimum condition for long-term usage it is important to fully charge the battery. The first 3 charge cycles of the laptop battery must also be done on fully discharged batteries, and charged to their full capacity.
2. Calibrate batteries every few months: Most laptop batteries are created with an internal microprocessor which provides an estimate of battery conditions such as number of charges, discharges, full charge capacity and cycle charge count. As well as saving laptop battery power, this will also take strain of eyes and cause less fatigue.
4. Use the laptop’s power management system: When using Microsoft Windows the “Power Options” power management application can be found in the Control Panel. From the Power Options Properties tab select the “Portable/Laptop” power scheme.
5. Close unused applications: Applications require energy to run and become a burden on the system. Closing unused applications will reduce that burden and also decrease energy consumption.
6. Remove unused PC Cards or USB Devices: Even when these devices are left idle they are using energy, so by removing them consumers will be surprised at how much extended battery time can be gained.
7. Reduce unnecessary optical drive activity: Avoid activities that require a laptops optical drive to operate constantly, e.g. listening to CDs

Comparing Laptop Computers

Comparing laptop computers can be a tough thing with the rate at which society is advancing. After all, no two consecutive laptops are the same. One always has new features at lower prices. Do you want a used laptop computer that is good enough to get basic Internet access and work as a word processor?
Do you want a gaming laptop computer that you can use for graphics intensive, high tech games? Do you want something that you can use as a business computer, or perhaps as a graphics and sound workstation? There are zillions of different features in an average portable computer, and knowing what you need to do with one is the first step towards picking out the perfect computer for you.
A lot of the time, people just buy laptops to use to get work done on the go. This makes a lot of sense to most computer users. As a result, you might want to compare laptop computers for the best deal. That way, you can get a fairly low-tech laptop to use as a mobile workstation and a more high-powered home computer to use when you get home.
You can really get high-performance laptop computers if you're looking for one. Miniaturization has gotten so good that it is often easy to compare laptop computers to home computers in terms of power. You definitely will have to spend quite a bit more " cutting edge laptops do not come cheap " but if you have the money to spend, it might be worth it. This is especially true for business travelers.
You can't compare laptop computers from the newest generation to older ones in terms of what they can do. You can watch videos, record digital presentations, get wireless reception anywhere, store massive amounts of files, and that is just the beginning. If money is no limit, go for it. Buy a really great computer.
Buy a stripped-down, efficient laptop computer designed for work on the go. When you compare laptop computers in terms of durability, you come up with a few outstanding examples. For example, there's that green computer system designed to work in the third world.
